Sorry I didn't have yesterday and today's blog posts up. I've been a bit crazed.
I was signing cover flats at Book Expo America at the Ellora's Cave booth on Wednesday, and yesterday I announced that I'm now being repped by a literary agent (read the blog post about it here) as well. Busy busy.
But I do apologize.
I know yesterday we got one May50K winner already, @rawiyamikembl. Congrats!
I wrote 1500 words yesterday, pretty good considering I went out in the evening.
ReplyDeleteToday I wrote 2K. I'm now at 45K. :)
Look at you! 3 days to get 5k more? You will do it!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI got 2200 Thursday. None today, but as soon as I get these grades entered, I'm writing something even if it's just 10 words. I can't break my may streak!
Woohoo! Congrats to everyone on their great accomplishments!
ReplyDeleteThank you again Shoshanna for doing this and the congrats.
I did 2997 today which puts me a tad over 56K for the month. Unbelievable. This is on about 7 or 8 different stories.
:P
Gianna and I are going for 60k.

Congrats @Rawiyamikembl! Awesome job, and I am so impressed you can juggle so many projects! As for that 60, gonna be tight with the weekend schedule, but I'm pretty sure I can get there by next weekend. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky.
ReplyDeleteGo Shoshanna! You'll hit it this weekend on that pace for sure.
Great job Chance - those kinds of wc days make me feel like nothing else will bother me. Every little bit, helps. A critique partner always says, "Even if you just write one page a day, at the end of the year, you have a complete book!" She is so right.
For Thursday, I had 1400 words, Friday was 2293, putting me at 49K as of Friday night. This morning, I added another 1443, putting me at 50,412 total as of Saturday. I am reasonably sure it will be very late tonight before I have another chance to get back to it.
